What is Net Run Rate (NRR)?
Net Run Rate (NRR) is a statistical method used in cricket to analyze a team's performance in a tournament. It's a tie-breaker when teams have the same number of points. A positive NRR means a team is scoring faster than its opponents, while a negative NRR means the opposite.
The formula for NRR is: NRR = (Average runs scored per over by team) - (Average runs scored per over against team).
